Daniela Chiorazzi (Stony Point, NY / North Rockland) has been named the MAAC Player of the Week after a huge performance at Niagara.
Chiorazzi hit .500 (6-for-12) with four home runs, 10 RBI, six run with a 1.500 slugging percentage.
She began her big week by going 3-for-3 with two home runs and five RBI while accounting for all five Manhattan runs in a series-opening 5-4 victory, before drawing a walk with a run in the nightcap.
Chiorazzi continued her power surge in Sunday's opener, going 3-for-4 with two more home runs, five RBI and a stolen base.
In the finale, she drew two walks en route to posting a .600 OBP for the weekend.
On the year, Chiorazzi is hitting .282 with four home runs and 12 RBI.
