Phil Wildermuth has announced the addition of six student-athletes to the men's team for the 2020-21 season.
Wildermuth On The Incoming Class: "I am very excited with this group of freshmen that are joining the program for the upcoming year. They are all hard workers and 'golf guys.' This class comes from all over the country, with all having an outstanding track record of success in both junior and high school golf. Last year, our team tournament scoring average improved two strokes, and our incoming class will create a more competitive qualifying
atmosphere this fall, and thus lead to an even better scoring average next season. Great things are on the horizon as we are striving to put the program at the top of the MAAC, and I can't wait to get started!"
Finbar Bonner (Belmar, NJ / CBA)
* Helped lead CBA to three-straight New Jersey State Championships
* As a junior in 2018, registered a pair of first-place finishes on the NJ Junior Tour
* Placed first at the at Spooky Brook with a score of -3 (69) and at Copper Hill CC with a -3 (69) @ Copper Hill CC
Grant Griswold (Walpole, MA / Hilton Head Prepartory (SC))
* Helped Hilton Head Preparatory to the 2019 South Carolina State Championship
* In 2018, tied for second with a one-under par 143 (70-73) for the event
* His uncle Charles Sharkey played basketball for two seasons at Manhattan, helping the Jaspers to the 1959 NIT
Max Levine (Mahopac, NY / Trinity Pawling)
* Two-year captain for Trinity Pawling
* Registered two first and two second-place finishes on the 2019 Metropolitan Junior Golf Tour
* Fired a -2 (70) to capture first place at the Bedford Golf and Tennis Club.
Tyler Nguyen (Walnut, CA / Walnut)
* League MVP as a freshman at Walnut High School, and a three-time First Team All-Area selection
* As a junior in 2019, registered four top-10 finishes and nine top-25 showings
* Posted four wins as a sophomore in 2018
Colby Norton (Harwinton, CT / Lewis Mills)
* Two-time First Team All-State honoree
* Fired a -3 (69) to place win the CIAC Division III Championship
* Captured the Berkshire League title with a -1 (71)
Junwoo Park (Lewisville, TX / Hebron)
* 2019 Regional Champion and two-time District Champion (2017, 2018)
* Won the Srixon/Cleveland Golf Cowboys Classic, firing a two-under par 142 (73, 69), and at the Keeton Park GC on the Northern Texas Junior Golf Tour with a -5 (67).
* Earned 27 victories from 2016-19 on th Northern Texas Junior Golf Tour
