Tuscan, AZ -

Cimillo, who also earned All-MAAC First Team honors, finished the year among the MAAC leaders in batting (.350-3rd), hits (78-3rd), home runs (7-9th), RBI (36-11th) and total bases (111-4th).

At the 2019 MAAC Championship, Cimillo homered and drove in four runs in the Jaspers' 6-2 win over Marist, before delivering the eventual game-winning, two-run single in
5-3 victory over top-seeded Canisius. The rookie standout capped his impressive season with three hits and two runs against Quinnipiac and a double and a run vs. Fairfield.

Cimillo is the first Manhattan player to earn Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American honors since current San Francisco Giant farmhand Fabian Pena was cited in 2016.

The Collegiate Baseball's National Co-Freshmen Players of The Year were Ethan Wilson (South Alabama) and Aaron Sabato (North Carolina) with Tyler Thornton (St. Mary's) and JT Ginn (Mississippi St.) being tabbed as the Co-Freshmen Pitchers of the Year. Sabato is the younger brother of sophomore RHP Teddy Sabato (Rye Brook, NY / UNC).
