Dominic Palma (Hilton, NY / Hilton) and sophomore catcher
Matt Padre (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) were named to the 2019
Google Cloud Academic All-District® Baseball Team.
Palma, who holds a 3.62 GPA in exercise science, is hitting .228 with six doubles, two home runs and nine RBI.
An accounting major, Padre has a 3.87 GPA and is batting .242 on the year with eight doubles, three home runs and 25 RBI.
The team selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third team (when selected) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
