Drew Kelleher has announced the Manhattan Men's Lacrosse schedule for the 2020 season.
"Each year we try to schedule in a way that helps us prepare for MAAC play," said Kelleher. "We feel that this year as much as ever we will be challenging ourselves with our non-league schedule, so that we can be ready when we play our conference foes."
Comprising the Jaspers' 14- game slate are seven non-conference and seven MAAC games..
Manhattan will open the season at traditional power Navy on Friday, February 7 in Annapolis, MD, before returning home to host VMI on Saturday, February 15.
The Jaspers will then play a pair of games against NEC foes at Wagner (Saturday, February 22) and at home against Bryant (Saturday, February 29). Manhattan defeated both teams by a goal last year.
After taking to the road for a pair of non-conference games, the Jaspers will open MAAC play on Saturday, March 14 in Buffalo at Canisius.
Manhattan will then conclude non-conference play at Hofstra (Tuesday, March 17), before hosting Detroit Mercy on Saturday, March 21.
The Jaspers will also host home games against Monmouth (Friday, March 27) and Siena (Saturday, April 11).
Manhattan will then close out the regular season with road games at Marist (Saturday, April 18) and Quinnipiac (Friday, April 24).
