MORAGA, CA – The Manhattan College softball team's final two games at the Saint Mary's Tournament have been cancelled due to inclement weather. The Jaspers (7-5) were originally scheduled to face Saint Mary's (7-14) and Portland State (5-14) on Sunday, but overnight rain made the field unplayable.
Friday's games were also rained out, but Manhattan was able to play both of its scheduled contests in Saturday, dropping a 1-0 decision to Towson and falling to Saint Mary's by a 2-1 count.
After travelling back to the East Coast, the Jaspers return to action on Friday at the St. John's Tournament. Manhattan begins the tournament with a 12 p.m. matchup against Howard (2-12), then faces the host Red Storm (8-10) at 2 p.m.
