Niagara swept the weekend series thanks to limiting the Jaspers to just six runs.

Tough Weekend
Despite hitting .316 at Siena, Manhattan dropped all three games to the defending MAAC Champions.

History Lesson
The last time the Jaspers were swept during MAAC play, the Jaspers bounced back with a series victory at Rider a year ago.

History Lesson x2
Last season, Manhattan started the season 4-11 before winning seven-of-nine to squeak into the playoffs as a the No. 6 seed.

Interesting
The previous two meetings between the teams in 2012 and 2013 have resulted in series sweeps for the home team. All told, the Jaspers have won seven-straight at home against the Purple Eagles with the last loss coming on April 13, 2008.

All-Time At Dutchess
Manhattan holds a 3-1 record against Niagara when playing at Dutchess Stadium as the teams met from 2003-2005 at the MAAC Tournament, which was hosted by the Stadium. All-time, the Purple Eagles are 4-8 when playing at the stadium.

Coaching Match-Up
Jim Duffy is 3-3, all-time, against Niagara while seventh-year coach Rob McCoy is 6-9 against the Riverdale-based college.

Tuesday Fireworks At The Ballpark
The Jaspers hit a blistering .407 (22-of-54) from the plate and with runners in scoring position (11-of-27) in taking both ends of a doubleheader from NYIT. Manhattan won the opener by a 6-3 count before scoring a season-high 12 runs in posting a 12-5 victory. 11 of the 12 active position players hit safely while all reached safely.

Homer Happy
