Edison, NJ - Manhattan College's Malin Marmbrandt was selected as the MAAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Performer of the Week, the conference announced today.
Marmbrandt, a 5-6 senior from Enkoping, Sweden, had an eventful Penn Relays last week. After tying a school record Thursday in the long jump, Marmbrandt came back at the meet Friday and won the College Women's Triple Jump Eastern section with a leap of 12.38-meters on her last jump of the day. Her school record-tying long jump on Thursday was 6.02-meters, good for fifth place in the event.
The MAAC Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held this weekend on the campus of Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J.
