NEW YORK, NY – The Manhattan Men's and Women's Track and Field teams participated in the Metropolitan Outdoor Championships from Icahn Stadium on Randalls Island on Friday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- On the Women's side to open the Championships, the foursome of Camryn Daley, Oliviah Hussey, SaRae Kennard, and Tranira Booker captured victory in the 4 x 100 Meter Relay race, with a recorded time of 47.75.
- Sophomore Oliviah Hussey and freshman Camryn Daley posted top-five finishes with a time of 12.05 and 12.35, for second and fourth place spots, respectively.
- Junior Bailee Christofis took home the victory in the Women's 5000 Meter Run with a time of 18:04.35, seven seconds better than Columbia's Maggie Bennett.
- Additionally, in the Women's 4 x 800 Meter Relay, Kylie Conroy, Natalia Socha, Elaina Batista, and Ashley Avena captured a time nearly 50 seconds better than the second-place finisher Hofstra, with a time of 9:59.58.
- Senior Isabella Sing finished with a mark of 5.83m for a second-place finish and eight points in the Women's Long Jump event.
- Freshman Kayla Darius recorded a mark of 11.55m and a second-place tally with eight points in the Women's Triple Jump.
- In the Men's 4 x 100 Meter Relay, the Jaspers' quartet of Alex Bilello, Joao Mota, Shane McCory, and Thomas Bonsignore posted a fifth-place finish and logged four points with a time of 42.96.
- In the Men's 400 Meter Hurdles, Bonsignore logged a third-place mark with six points recorded and a time of 57.28 in the event.
- Senior Jack Flanagan added to the Jasper accolades on the day with a second-place finish in the Men's 5000 Meter Run. The event also logged eight points for the Green and White.
- In the Men's Hammer Throw, three Jaspers posted spots in the top ten, with senior Myron Corpuz capturing first and 10 points with 53.57m. Sophomore Daniel McWilliams sported a fourth-place finish with a marker of 48.06m, and an additional five points for the Jaspers. Finally, freshman Nicholas Fazzini supplied a 39.83m mark for an additional two points to the team's ledger.
- Additionally, Corpuz continued his red-hot day with another ten points and a victory in the Men's Shot Put with a mark of 14.66m.
- An additional four Jaspers posted top ten finishes in the Men's Long Jump, with senior Ivan Lytovchenko netting ten points with a mark of 6.97m. Senior Alex Bilello came in third with 6.56m to come away with six points. Freshman Jordan Hairston recorded a fifth-place finish and four points with 6.52m. Finally, junior Thomas Dubnov Raz finished seventh and captured two points and a mark of 6.26m.
- Finally, in the Men's Javelin Throw, freshman Cade Palmer registered a 54.46m for a second-place finish and eight points. Corpuz continued his dominance throughout with another top ten finish with 41.04m for eighth place.

The Green and White continue their Outdoor Season on Saturday, April 11, when the Jaspers compete in the Bucknell Outdoor Classic from Lewisburg, PA. The event will take place over three days.
