Johnson Captures Bronze for U.S. In Triple Jump at PanAm Championships

Manhattan College rising sophomore Albert Johnson III earned a bronze medal for the U.S. in the triple jump at the PamAm Junior Track and Field Championships Sunday in Trinidad.

In capturing the bronze medal, Johnson set a personal best with a mark of 15.89 meters.

"This is a terrific culmination of a very long and successful freshman year and his bronze medal at the PanAm Junior Championships is a tribute to A.J. as a competitor and athlete," said Manhattan College track and field head coach Dan Mecca.
