Vuckovic Posts NCAA Regional Qualifying Mark in 3000m Steeplechase at Larry Ellis Meet's First Day

Manhattan College's Milos Vuckovic attained an NCA regional qualifying mark in the 3000 meter steeplechase event at the Larry Ellis Invitational held at Princeton University Frfiday.  He ran the race in 9:06.36.

Other top performances at the meet by Manhattan performers included Zack Price running a personal record in the steeplechase event in 9:37.13 and Matt Kaftanski running a first ever 9:54.86 in that same event.  On the women's side, Mary Consiglio ran a personal record 11:36.15 in the women's 3000m steeplechase event.

Additionally, Maria Jangsten ran a personal record 2:12.72 in the 800 meter run and in the men's 800 meter run Alex Hudak improved his IC4A mark to 1:50.56, just missing an NCAA mark of 1:50.40. And in the hammer throw, Diane Strutner set a personal best with a mark of 43.05m
