Milan Jotanovic was once again named the MAAC Men's Indoor Track Performer of the Week.
Jotanovic, a native of Serbia, won his latest honor via winning the shot put on Friday at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships with an NCAA "A" qualifying mark of 19.47 meters.
Jotanovic's mark -- which moved him back to the number two spot in the country in the shot -- is one major reason that this week Trackshark.com ranked the Jasper men's track and field team 28th nationally.
Other reasons for the national ranking were the fact that he Jasper men's track and field team won their 35th Met title in 65 years, and the fact that senior Jasper Dexter Jules is in the top 10 nationally in the triple jump.
