WEST POINT, NY – Opening its 2025-26 Indoor Season was the Manhattan Jaspers Men's and Women's Track and Field squad at the Crowell Invite, hosted by the Black Knights of Army West Point inside Army-Gillis Field House on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- On the Women's side to open the indoor season, Olivia Hussey and Ellianne Fernandez paced the Green and White in the Women's 300 Meter event with a time of 41.34 and 41.56, respectively, to finish atop the event and second.
- In the Women's 200 Meters Section I, freshman Camryn Daley logged a time of 26.36.
- Senior Elaina Batista showed the speed with a time of 1:06.26 in the Women's 400 Meters event.
- As a team consisting of Fernandez, Batista, Hussey, and SaRae Kennard, the Jaspers logged a second-place finish in the Women's 4 x 400 Relay and supplied a time of 4:05.09.
- In the Women's Long Jump, senior Isabella Sing recorded a mark of 5.46m.
- On the men's side, sophomore Thomas Bonsignore added a time of 51.19 for a third-place finish in the Men's 400 Meter event.
- In the Men's 4 x 400 Relay, Jaiden Bradshaw, Nicholas Almeida, Christopher Purchia, and Jaden Walker posted a time of 3:28.25 to finish second in the respective event.
- Junior Thomas Dubnov Raz continued his strong field events with a mark of 6.91m in the Men's Long Jump.
- In the Men's Triple Jump, sophomore Jayce Ward finished with a 14.00m mark for second place.
- Finally, junior Myron Corpuz supplied a mark of 16.50m in the Men's Weight Throw event.
