Latino Again Breaks a Record, But Women's Swim Team Loses to Fairfield and Bryant in Double Dual Meet Held at Fairfield

Riverdale, N.Y. -- The Manhattan College women's swim team was defeated by Bryant University 135-67 and to MAAC rival Fairfield University 173-46 in a double dual meet held Saturday at Fairfield University.  A bright spot in the meet was another school record breaking performance from freshman Bridget Latino, who break the school's 200 individual medley relay mark in 2:18.26.

Freshman Bridget Latino once again garnered the most points for the Lady Jasper swimmers, grabbing second place finishes in the 200 individual medley (in 2:34.31) and  200 butterfly (in 2:32.61).  She was also part of the first place 200 freestyle relay team that also consisted of Megan O'Keefe, Megan Goldrick and Catherine Chan.  That winning team had a time of 1:55.69.

Chan also had a good day in the pool, adding to her relay win a second place finish in the 50 free in 28.87.
