Latino Breaks Another Women's Swim Team Record, But Team Loses to Siena and Loyola in Tri-Dual Meet

Riverdale, N.Y. ? Manhattan freshman Bridget Latino continued her string of record breaking performances, this time breaking the school's record 200 butterfly event at a tri-dual meet Saturday against Siena and Loyola.  The team lost both meets, falling to host Siena College 66-38 and to Loyola College 62-39 in Albany.

Latino, who had broken school records in the 500 freestyle and 200 freestyle in a meet Friday night, on Saturday broke the 200 butterfly mark with a second place time of 2.14.88.  The old record was set by Megan O'Keefe in 2:16.98.

The Lady Jasper squad also got a good performance from the 400 free relay team of Latino, Megan Goldrick, O'Keefe and Catherine Chan, which finished third in 3:47.67.
