CHRIS VIEAU SHOOTS THREE ROUNDS IN THE 70s AT RUTGERS MEN'S GOLF INVITATION

Piscataway, N.J. (September 15, 2007) ? Senior Chris Vieau shot three rounds in the 70s, turning in the best cumulative score for the Manhattan College golf team at the Rutgers Men's Golf Invitation held September 14 and 15th at the Rutgers University Golf Club.  As a team, the Jaspers finished 17th in the tournament.

 

Vieau had a three round total of 233 over the par 71, 6,337 yard Rutgers layout, finishing in a tie for 60th.  The low medalist in the tournament with a three round total of 209 was Michael Lawrence of University of South Carolina-Upstate.  He led USC-Upstate to an overall tournament team win.

 

Other finishers for Manhattan were:  Scott Burton, who shot a 249 and tied for 84th; Thomas Camisa (253, 86th place); and Sean Oroho (254, 87th place).
