Drums, Pa. (September 28, 2007) ? With senior Chris Vieau finishing as Manhattan's low medalist and tied for fifth overall in the tournament, the men's golf team finished fourth in the Susquehanna University Golf Classic held at the par 72, 6,721 yard Edgewood-In-The-Pines Golf Club.
Vieau shot a 77, four shots back of the overall medalist Zach Provant of Susquehanna University. One shot back of Vieau and tied for sixth overall was Manhattan senior Scott Burton who shot a 78. Also scoring for the Jaspers were freshmen Thomas Romano and Louis Perry, both of whom shot 80 and tied for eight overall, and freshman Matt Baney who shot a 88 and finished in a tie for 16th overall.
As a team, fourth-place Manhattan scored 315, finishing behind the host Susquehanna, Muhlenberg College and Gettysburg College. In all, the tournament included 15 teams.
