HEAD COACH WALTER OLSEWSKI ANNOUNCES MEN'S GOLF AND WOMEN'S SWIMMING RECRUITING CLASSES

Riverdale, NY (July 20, 2005)- Manhattan head men's golf and women's swimming coach Walter Olsewski recently announced his recruiting classes for the 2005-06 academic year. Olsweski adds four linksmen and three swimmers.

GOLF

The four signees are: AJ Balsinde (Hialeah,FL/Christopher Columbus), who has played in last two Florida State High School Tournaments, Nick Mayo (Mahopac NY/Mahopac), a 3 handicap shooter who plays out of Putnam National CC, Adam Minbiole (Schnectady,NY/Mohansen), a 2.3 handicap, and Ryan Ekey (Harrison, NY/Harrison) a 4 handicap who plays out of Winged Foot CC in Mamaroneck NY.

"I fully expect all four golfers to contribute to the team right off the bat," commented Olsweski. "They all come highly recomended and have had outstanding amateur success in local and regional competitions."

SWIMMING

The three swimming signees are: Megan O'Keefe (Pearl River, NY/Pearl River), a fly and backstroker out of Pearl River HS in Section 1, Susie Mothes (Dublin, OH/Dublin Coffman), a distance swimmer from Dublin Coffman HS in Dublin,OH, and Kerri Whalen (West Islip, NY/West Islip), a fly and back out of West Islip HS in Suffolk County.

"These three young ladies will add tremendous depth to a great returning class of swimmers," noted Olsewski. "I fully expect our team to move right up the ladder in the MAAC."
