GOLF FINISHES FIRST DAY OF MAAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Orlando, FL (April 23, 2004) - The Manhattan College men's golf team finished eighth on the first day of the MAAC Championships, recording a one day total of 327. Senior co-captain Martin Tobias tallying a round of 75, stands tied for fourth after day one.

Junior Tim Hand totaled an 80, Danny Sirico, Jay Wiederlight each recorded an 86 and Corey Barringer tallied an 89.

The Jaspers will tee off tomorrow at 6:50 am, at the Disney's Palm Golf Course in Orlando, FL, for the second day of the MAAC Championships.
