RIVERDALE, NY – The Manhattan Jaspers Men's Soccer team (2-5-1, 0-1-1 Metro) fell to the Bobcats of Quinnipiac University (4-3-0, 2-0-0 Metro) by a score of 3:1 inside Gaelic Park on Wednesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED

- Five minutes later, the Jaspers' miscue allowed the icebreaker off the penalty spot in the ninth minute.
- The Jaspers countered with a trio of shots in seven minutes before a pair of Bobcat free kicks put pressure on the Green and White backline.
- Off a corner kick for the Jaspers in the 27th minute, Tycho van Haaren sent in a perfect set piece to Nicolo Donadio, who headed it beyond the Quinnipiac keeper for the fourth goal of his Manhattan tenure.
- Just five minutes later, the Jaspers, led by Ziv Dahan and Giovanni Rivera, both logged shots that were blocked.
- To open the second half, the Jaspers added three more shots to keep pressure on the Bobcats' backline but couldn't find a direct target.
- After Quinnipiac broke through to take the lead, the Jaspers continued to apply pressure with another three shots before the Bobcats added an insurance marker in the 66th minute.
