EWING, NJ – The Manhattan Men's and Women's Track and Field competed in the Rick McCorkle Invite, hosted by The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) on Friday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the Men's Long Jump, freshman Jordan Hairston finished with a distance of 6.65m for a seventh-place finish in the event. Rounding out the Top 25 was freshman Troy Green, who placed 24th with a 5.65m distance.
- In the Women's Shot Put event, freshman Maddie Stiefel placed 16th with a distance of 10.57m. Stiefel continued to shine in the Women's Discus with an 11th-place finish and a distance of 34.00m.
- Freshman Brody Cox finished fourth in the Men's 1500m event with a time of 4:05.69. Rounding out the top ten was junior Colby Micheels for ninth place and a time of 4:10.17.
- In the Women's 3000m event, freshman Diya Patel placed third with a time of 12:33.22.
- Senior Jack Flanagan logged a third-place finish in the Men's 5000m event with a time of 15:58.11.
- Freshman Lukas Paunovic registered a time of 1:57.88 and placed 15th in the Men's 800m.
- In the Women's 5000m, freshman Paula Pallares placed second with a time of 19:28.78.
UP NEXT
The Green and White continues its stay at the Penn Relays tomorrow, April 25, at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field. The meet can be seen on FloTrack with a paid subscription.
The entire program will be back in action next weekend, Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, when the Jaspers take part in the Larry Ellis Invitational, hosted by Princeton University.
