RIVERDALE, N.Y. -
After getting into the win category for the first time this past Thursday, the Jaspers will look to keep the good times rolling against Marist. Leading Manhattan in the points category has been Senior guard Brianna Davis, tallying double figures in all but two of the Jaspers' first 12 games. A recent blossoming on the court has come from Graduate forward Colette Mulderig, who has now scored in double figures herself in four of her last five games. On the defensive end, the Scranton, Pa. native is averaging 1.5 blocks a contest, good enough for 2nd in the MAAC. Last time out against Saint Peter's, Junior forward Kristina Juric tied her career-high in points with 18 and set a new best with eight made field goals. The Green and White will look to take care of business before going on their annual road trip to Western New York to square off with Canisius (Jan. 9) and Niagara (Jan. 11).

Scouting the Opposition:

After three consecutive losses to open 2025-26, the Marist Red Foxes stumbled to a 3-7 record in non-conference play.

Taking down Holy Cross and Stony Brook at home, Marist also picked up an overtime victory on the road at Lafeyette 79-76.

Early in the MAAC slate, the Red Foxes are off to a 1-2 start, taking down Sacred Heart this past Monday.

Marist is led by Freshman and Senior guards Justine Henry and Lexie Tarul, who combine for an output of 24.7 points a night, with the latter also leading the team in rebounding at 7.0 a contest.

The rest of the starting lineup, a unit that has all started at least 12 of the team's 13 games, includes Sophomore guard Danielle Williamsen, Senior guard Jackie Piddock, and Junior forward Karly Fischer.

Marist was selected to finish in fourth place in the 2025-26 edition of the MAAC Preseason Poll.

After hovering just above .500 in the conference slate at 11-9 in 2024-25, the Red Foxes went in to the MAAC Championship as the fifth-seeded team.

In Atlantic City, Marist played Mount St. Mary's (MD) for the second consecutive game in the quarterfinals, losing 68-65 after a missed jumper in the final seconds.

This will serve as the 68th matchup between Marist and Manhattan, with the Jaspers falling in four of the last five outings.
