MILFORD, CT – Manhattan Men's Golf continued its 2025 season at the SHU Men's Fall Classic from the Great River Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
ROUNDS ONE AND TWO
- The first day in Connecticut for Junior Cabell Faulkner proved to be a near perfect one. The Potomac native opened the tournament with a first hole birdie on the par four. He continued his near perfect front nine with two additional birdies on par fives, before netting one double-bogey to close out the front end.
- Throughout the back nine for Faulkner, the Maryland native posted an additional four birdies to finish one under par in the first round.
- Faulker didn't have the same start in the second round that he did in the first, as he opened the round with a bogey, but rebounded with notching birdie in the next two of three holes.
- Sophomore Louis Vandeputte put together an exceptional back nine to open the first round with a pair of birdies on the 10th and 15th holes.
- Performing to par was sophomore Aidan Talent, who notched a trio on the opening three, before capturing his lone birdie on the sixth hole.
- Junior Walter Carley opened the second round with a birdie with a three spot on a par four, before ending the front nine with his second birdie of the match.
ROUND THREE
- Faulkner opened the third round with three bogeys in the first six holes, before bouncing back with a much-needed birdie on the seventh hole. Faulkner would net his first eagle of the tournament on the 12th hole, followed by two additional birdies down the stretch.
- Vandeputte finished the tournament with a pair of birdies along the back nine on holes 12 and 18 to close out his stint.
- The bounce back performance for Talent came after securing three bogies on holes two through four, before recording a much-needed birdie on the fifth hole.

The Green and White are back in action on Monday and Tuesday, September 22 and 23, respectively when Manhattan competes in the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate, hosted by conference foe Fairfield University at the Wethersfield County Club in Wethersfield, CT.
