Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Take On Felician

RIVERDALE, NY – Manhattan Men's and Women's Swimming continued its 2025-26 season against the Golden Falcons of Felician University inside the nearby Horace Mann School with the former picking up a win by a final score of 164-87, and the latter falling 186-81 on Saturday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE MEN
  • The Jaspers grabbed 16 of the available 19 points in the 200 Yard Freestyle, with Tristian Ehrhardt and Matt Rogliano finishing first and second, respectively. 
  • Abelardo Cartagena and Michael Freeman took all 13 poitns in the 50 Yard Backstroke, with Cartagena clocking a finals time of 25.19.
  • Lucien Zens took advantage of all nine points in the 1000 Yard Freestyle race, with a finals time of 10:53.82.
  • Jonathan Carsen posted nine points for the Green and White in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a finals time of 21.80.
  • Ibrahim Mohammad finished within a second of teammate Zens in the 500 Yard Freestyle, with his 5:11.71 finals time just .87 seconds faster.
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE WOMEN
  • In the 200 Yard Freestyle, Elle Feneide grabbed nine points for the Jaspers following her finals time of 1:59.42.
  • The trio of Tereza Horvatova, Mary Haley, and Natalie Smith rounded out the two, three, and four spots in the 50 Yard Freestyle, all finishing within two seconds of each other. 
  • For the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, Feneide and Horvatova were joined by Shayna Millard and Jaila Williamson to pick up 11 points after a finals time of 1:40.40.

The Green and White are back in action next month, when the Jaspers compete in the ECAC Winter Championships, starting on Saturday, December 5, at the Nassau County Aquatic Center
