UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY, CO - Following their second home contest of the season on Wednesday, Manhattan looks to get in the win category following a tight loss to FDU. Leading Manhattan in the points category for both home games was Senior guard
Brianna Davis, posting 18 on 11/3 against Rhode Island and 19 against FDU on Wednesday. Graduate transfer Agar Farrés Garcia is establishing herself as the defensive anchor on the team, averaging 11.3 rebounds per game. The Green and White are spreading the wealth offensively so far, with seven players averaging between 3.0-6.7 points per game through the campaign's first three matchups. Scouting the Opposition:
•After opening the 2025-26 season with a win over Denver on the road, the Air Force Falcons have dropped their last two over the last eight days to both South Dakota, and most recently Oregon State by a final score of 60-49.
•Led by Senior guard Milahnie Perry, the Tampa, FL native is currently the lone Falcon averaging double figures at 11.5 points per game, putting up 13 and 10 in her first two games against South Dakota and Oregon State.
•Junior guard Jayda McNabb uses her 5'10 frame to chime in seven rebounds per contest, contributing the same amount of blocks over the course of her first three games
•The Falcons come off a 2024-25 season where they finished with a winning record at 18-15, going 7-11 inside Mountain West play.
•Earning the seventh seed in time for the 2025 Mountain West Championship, Air Force grabbed an opening round win over #10 Utah State 66-59 on Mar. 9.
•The following night against #2 Wyoming, the Falcons fell 77-64 in the Mountain West quarterfinals.
•After accepting an offer to play in the Women's National Invitation Tournament, Air Force lost its opening round matchup to Utah Valley by six points, 70-64.
•This will serve as the first-ever matchup between Air Force and Manhattan, with the Jaspers having a previous history with the other two Division I service acadmeies in both Navy and Army already.
