RIVERDALE, NY - Roughly 10 weeks from the start of the college basketball season, Manhattan University's women's basketball program is releasing their full schedule Monday morning, in conjunction with the Metro Conference's announcement of the intraleague slate.
It all starts on the first Monday in November, when the Green and White welcome Division II Pace to Draddy Gymnasium for the first time in history for a regular season game. Their first pair of clashes in Division I will come via the Metro/America East Challenge, starting with a trip to Albany to take on the Great Danes on Thursday, November 5. Manhattan will then return home to take on Bryant Sunday, November 8.
The 57th edition of the Battle of the Bronx will ensue on Sunday November 15, when the Rams from Fordham come to Riverdale, where the Jaspers won in 2024. During Thanksgiving week, the team will take a trip to the Sunshine State to participate in the FIU Tournament alongside the host Panthers, North Dakota, and Northern Illinois in Miami on November 27 and 29. Manhattan will wrap up their non-conference slate with three consecutive home games against Le Moyne (Dec. 2), NJIT (Dec. 5), and CCSU (Dec. 15).
Opening their first season in the newly rebranded Metro Conference slate will be a home bout with Fairfield (Dec. 19), their same opponent to open the conference schedule last season. For the fourth time in 30 years and second consecutive year, the Jaspers will play on New Year's Day, this time at Merrimack.
Starting Saturday, January 9, the Green and White will enter a stretch of four of their next six games being inside Draddy Gymnasium, with Sacred Heart (Jan. 9), Marist (Jan. 13), Siena (Jan. 18), and Merrimack (Jan. 23) all making their way to Riverdale.
February sees both legs of the Jaspers' rivalry with Iona renewed, with Thursday, February 4 taking place in Riverdale, and the return game coming just 14 days later in New Rochelle.
Ending the year strong, Manhattan will also play three of their last five games inside Draddy, with Quinnipiac (Feb. 11), Rider (Feb. 13), and Saint Peter's (Feb. 20) coming to town.
The 2027 Metro Women's Basketball Championship will once again take place inside Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ from Thursday, March 4-Monday, March 8.
