WEST POINT, N.Y. - Manhattan College men's and women's track & field teams wrapped up competition at the Army Open this afternoon.

"Today was a very promising continuation of yesterday's positive results," said Director of Cross Country and Track & Field,
Kerri Inman. "I am very pleased with the outdoor season opener and am looking forward to more exciting results in the coming weeks."

Julia Hendricks won the 800 meters with a time of 2:21.46. She finished five seconds ahead of second place. Teammate
Elaina Batista was third in 2:28.38.

Thea Bakken placed sixth in the 200 meters with a time of 26.92.
Bella Cannizzo raced to a time of 10:33.24 in the 3,000 meters for second place.

Sjodin Fedikovich placed fifth in the women's javelin with a throw of 32.44 meters (106-5), which she achieved on her second attempt of the day.

Makayla Dorvil placed third in the triple jump with a bound of 10.43 meters (34-2.75).
Â
Bekah Bouton earned a fourth-place finish in the shot put with a distance of 11.83 meters (38-9.75).

The women's 4x100-meter relay team of
Martina Martinez,
Isabella Sing, Dorvil, and
Skye Lehr raced to a time of 50.96 around the track. Martinez, Bakken, Batista, and
Lauren Chappell placed second in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:07.09.

For the men,
Darion Lopez won the 200 meters in a time of 21.46, while teammate
Thomas Dubnov Raz was third in 22.10.

Jared Lautenslager made his track debut this season as he captured second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:57.70.
Jaiden Bradshaw was right behind him in third place with a time of 1:59.07.
Jack Flanagan placed second in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:30.67.

The men's 4x100-meter relay team of
Brian Oduor,
Noah Jefferson,
Harrison Alonzo, and
Darion Lopez placed third with a time of 42.20. The squad of
Jaiden Bradshaw,
Travis Delaney, Christopher Purchia, and
Jay Glenn placed second in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:24.61.

Lewis Foster's throw of 60.54 meters (198-7) was good enough for second place in the javelin throw.Â
