Gunnar Studenhofft had the distinct honor of representing his home country, The Cayman Islands, as the team played in the 2022-23 CONCACAF Nations League.
In the team's 5-1 defeat at the hands of Puerto Rico, the Jasper strike was responsible for the only goal for the Cayman Islands. In the 85th minute, when Studenhoff picked off a back pass and calmly dribbled around the Puerto Rican keeper before passing the ball into the empty net.
The Cayman Islands finished in 2nd place with two points, ahead of the British Virgin Islands on goal differential. Puerto Rico finishes with all 12 points out of the possible 12.
