PHOENIX, AZ – Former
Men's Soccer striker Gunnar Studenhofft signed a multi-year contract ahead of the 2026 USL Championship season with the Phoenix Rising on Tuesday afternoon, pending league and federation approval.

Men's Soccer Head Coach and current Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs and Program Development, Jorden Scott.
"He was always driven to being the best he could be and was destined to achieve great things so it's pleasing to see his journey continue at such an elite club. We continue to stay in touch, like all our former players, and his story should inspire the next Jasper to follow in his footsteps."
As a member of the Jaspers
Men's Soccer program, Studenhofft was selected as an All-MAAC Second Team choice after netting five goals, two, of which, came in his Jasper debut against Holy Cross, while assisting on five. Studenhofft also tallied a timely match-winning marker against Fairfield in the MAAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
In his second season with the Green and White, Studenhofft starred with seven goals, and two assists in 15 fixtures competed in. He was eventually selected to the All-MAAC First Team for his efforts.
Coming out of university, the Cayman Islands native was selected with the 60
th overall pick in the 2024 Major League Soccer SuperDraft by the Colorado Rapids, before signing with the Huntsville City team, after logging an All-American Athletic Conference Second Team selection in his senior season for the University of South Florida.
Throughout his time on the professional circuit, Studenhofft played his first season with Huntsville City FC of MLS Next Pro having logged five goals in 936 minutes, while adding 16 shots on goal, and appearing in 22 total fixtures.
