EDISON, N.J. – First-place Manhattan College improved to 4-0 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) en route to
Henry Hamilton and
Danny DiMarco earning Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week accolades, announced by the league office today.
Hamilton scored the game-winning goal for Manhattan to keep the Jaspers undefeated in MAAC play after a 2-0 victory over second-place Rider. Hamilton scored in the 77th minute off a penalty kick and then four minutes later assisted on the insurance goal by
Gunnar Studenhofft to finish with three points.
DiMarco recorded his second shutout in conference play as the Jaspers beat Rider. DiMarco recorded five saves in rainy conditions to keep the Broncs off the board.
It is the first player of the week honor for each student-athlete and the third and fourth accolades for Manhattan this season.
