Jack Lynch collected All-MAAC honors, as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Bermudez was named First Team All-MAAC at shortstop, and Durocher earned First Team All-MAAC in the outfield. Padre is the catcher on the Second Team All-MAAC, and Lynch collected Second Team All-MAAC honors at third base.
It is the third all-league honor for Padre, second for Bermudez, and first for Durocher and Lynch. It is also the third straight season in which Manhattan has at least two players who make First Team All-MAAC.
Bermudez led the MAAC in slugging percentage (.668), runs scored (52), doubles (18), and finished second in batting average (.380), OPS (1.117), and hits (79). This season, the first-year Jasper and former Bronc had 23 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI games.
Durocher finished second on the Jaspers in slugging percentage (.530), runs scored (45), hits (64), RBI (50), home runs (6), and total bases (97). The right fielder led the Jaspers in stolen bases with 15, fourth in the MAAC. Durocher recorded 21 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games and ended the season on a nine-game hitting streak.
Padre reached base in all 50 games this season. The catcher led the MAAC in OBP (.504) and walks (49). Padre hit .339 and slugged .460, drove in 33 runs, and tallied 16 multi-hit games for the Green and White.
Lynch, who made his debut for the Jaspers in 2022, hit .354—second on the team—in 2022. The third baseman had 10 multi-RBI games, including five at Albany, on April 27. Lynch was third on Manhattan in total bases (87), homers (4), and RBI (39).
Manhattan finished the 2022 season at 24-26 overall and 12-12 in MAAC play.
