Jaspers Compete at Penn & West Point Thursday

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Manhattan women's track and field team competed in the 800m, 1500m, hammer, and javelin on Thursday at the West Point Twilight.
 
The best finish came from Alexandra Caraher in the hammer. The freshman recorded a best of 48.84m, which is a new personal best.
 
In the javelin, Michelle Maliborska finished seventh with a best of 28.72m.
 
On the track, Rory Graham and Shayna Arrigo competed in the 800m. Graham came home eighth (2:22.55) and Arrigo was 12th (2:28.84). Andria Scaglione crossed the line in eighth in the 1500m (4:43.95). It was her first appearance in the distance this season.

PHILADELPHIA – Nina Bjorkman represented Manhattan at the Penn Relays on Thursday.
 
The senior finished in 20th with a best of 47.06m, which came on her second attempt of the day.
 
Friday, the Jaspers return to action at the Penn Relays and the Lions Invitational at TCNJ.
