Preckajlo Collects Second MAAC Field Athlete of the Week Honor

EDISON, N.J. – For the second time this season, Alexandra Preckajlo has claimed MAAC Field Athlete of the Week honors.

Monday, the graduate student won the shot put event at the MLK Tribute Invitational, hosted by St. John's. The Ocean, N.J. native also finished second in the weight throw.

Preckajlo won with a 14.34m toss in the shot, which is the best mark in the MAAC this season, and posted a 17.51m effort in the weight throw.

The Jaspers return to the track on Friday at the NYC Gotham Cup.
