Courtney Warley (West Chester, PA / Bishop Shanahan) was selected as the Met Basketball Writers Association Division I Co-Player of the Week for the period of February 1-7.
Warley notched a double-double with game-highs of 18 points and 12 rebounds in leading the Jaspers to a 75-70 win over Saint Peter's. She also added three assists, while converting on 6-of-11 from the floor and 6-of-9 from the line.
"We are so excited for Courtney to be recognized by the Met writers," said Head Coach
Heather Vulin. "Courtney is one of the few players in the country averaging a double-double, and for her hard work to be recognized is greatly appreciated."
The Keystone State native now leads the MAAC with nine double-digit rebounding performances, while ranking second with five double-doubles, and is averaging 11.1 ppg with a MAAC-best 10.9 rpg.
