Flores Highlights Five Jaspers On MAAC 40th Anniversary Team

Edison, NJ – The MAAC celebrates its 40th Anniversary throughout the 2020-21 academic year, continuing its mission to provide student-athletes the opportunity to succeed in both academics and athletics.
 
Representing Manhattan on the 40th Anniversary Team are:

Tim Cain - 1981-85
- Graduated as the program's all-time leading scorer and remains the lone Jasper to earn All-MAAC honors in each of his four seasons in Riverdale.
- First-ever MAAC Rookie of the Year in 1981-82 while also collecting first team accolades, after averaging 15.3 ppg and 5.5 rpg.
- Averaged a career-high 20.9 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per game as a junior in 1983-84, earning inclusion on the All-Metropolitan First Team.
- A Sporting News All-American honorable mention honoree, he is third in program history with 1,872 career points, on the strength of a still-standing record of 776 field goals.

Keith Bullock - 1989-93
- Three-time First Team All-MAAC Selection, and is second in program history in both scoring (1,992 points) and rebounding (1,012 rebounds).
- As a senior in 1992-93, he led Manhattan to its first-ever MAAC Championship, and the program's first NCAA Tournament bid since 1958.
- Bullock was voted the 1992-93 MAAC Player of the Year and was named First Team All-Metropolitan, averaging 18.3 ppg and 11.1 rpg.
- Also was named the 1993 MAAC Tournament MVP for his efforts.

Luis Flores - 2001-04
- Arguably the top player in program history, he is the program's all-time leading scorer with 2,046 points despite playing just three seasons in Riverdale.
- Led Manhattan to back-to-back MAAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2003 and 2004.
- Named MAAC Player of the Year, MAAC Tournament MVP and the Haggerty Award winner as a junior and a senior.
- Flores led the Jaspers to a win over Florida in the 2004 NCAA Tournament, before being drafted by the Denver Nuggets with the 23rd pick of the second round and would go on to play two years in the NBA.

George Beamon - 2009-14
- Three-time All-MAAC and All-Metropolitan selection, finishing his career fourth in program history with 1,843 points.
- As a senior in 2013-14, averaged a team-best 18.8 ppg and 6.5 rpg in earning his second All-MAAC First Team citation.
- Also led by the Jaspers to their first MAAC Championship in 10 years, en route to being named MAAC Tournament MVP.
- Following graduation, he was selected by the NBA G League, and continues to play professionally.

Emmy Andujar - 2011-15
- Ranks among the career leaders in points (1,345 points-11th), rebounds (769-9th), assists (367-4th) and steals (167-3rd)
- Lone Jasper in program history to notch over 1,300 points, 750 rebounds, 360 assists and 160 steals.
- Two-time MAAC All-Tournament Team selection and 2015 All-MAAC First Team honoree.
- Helped lead the Jaspers to back-to-back MAAC Championships in 2014 and 2015, before going on to a successful professional career.
