Riverdale, NY – Following two successful Winter ID Clinics, Manhattan men's soccer shifts to the spring with its next program.
The clinic takes place on Sunday, March 24 at Gaelic Park, with events running from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The cost for each participant is $99. One can register using the link above, and multiple people can be registered at the same time. Anyone who seeks more information can contact Assistant Coach
Sean Reilly at sreilly02@manhattan.edu.
The staff, which includes six-year Head Coach
Jorden Scott as well as Assistant Coaches Reilly and
Edison Sanchez, will implement a plethora of resources for interested participants from ninth to 12th grade. The program will include a Q&A on the recruiting process and a tour of the Manhattan College campus.
Players will also take part in a college level training session in the first stage of the clinic and, following the tour, will compete in full-sided games that will give the players the chance to showcase their skills and their intellect for the game.
Coach Scott staff are coming off one of the most impressive seasons in program history. The group guided the Jaspers to 12 wins, the most in a single season. Manhattan's defense allowed a program-low 12 goals, while the team defeated a ranked opponent for the first time ever back on September 18, taking down #25 Fordham in Riverdale.
The team's success in 2018 has moved into the new year. Through its first two spring games in 2019, the Jaspers bested NJIT 6-1 and Monroe College 3-0.
