Steve Masiello has announced that freshman guard
Tykei Greene (Queens, NY / Long Island Lutheran) has been granted a waiver by the NCAA and will eligible for competition in 2018-19. Greene is the sixth scholarship newcomer for the upcoming season.

Notes: As a senior, Greene averaged 15.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game … Shot 50 percent from the floor, including 44 percent from long range … Led Long Island Lutheran to a 22-3 record and the
SNY Invitational Championship … As a junior at Thomas Edison High School, Greene recorded 24.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.Â

Manhattan will open the season on Monday, October 29 with an exhibition game against Nyack at 7:00 pm.
