Justin Otto '06 (Men's Lacrosse)
Sponsored by Robert Busweiler '05
Manhattan's all-time leading scorer and one of the early building blocks of the men's lacrosse program,
Justin Otto joins the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame.
A four-time All-MAAC selection, Otto remains the only player in Jasper history to record at least 30 goals in each of his four years on the field.
Otto made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2002, scoring 33 goals en route to earning All-MAAC Second Team honors while helping lead the Jaspers to their first conference title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
In Manhattan's magical MAAC Tournament run, Otto scored the eventual winning goal against Mount St. Mary's before becoming the first player in program history to light the lamp in a NCAA Tournament game at No. 5 Georgetown.
His play also is a major reason that the 2002 Men's Lacrosse Team is being inducted into the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame as a team.
Otto continues to hold the Jasper school record with 129 goals while ranking second with 172 points and was named as one of the MAAC's top 25 all-time performers as part of the league's 25th anniversary.
As a sophomore, Otto had 30 goals while securing his first All-MAAC First Team honor before scoring 32 goals in earning his second-straight First Team honor.
He then capped his outstanding career with a personal-best 34 goals in collecting his third-straight All-MAAC First Team accolade.
Following his collegiate career, Otto played in both the North American Lacrosse and Professional Lacrosse leagues while founding Top Side Lacrosse in Westchester County.
Otto graduated with a degree in civil engineering and along with his wife Kerri are the proud parents of Colton, Madison and Charlotte.
