RIVERDALE, N.Y. - On Thursday, October 24 at 7 p.m. at Draddy Gym, the Jasper Athletic Club invites alumni and friends to speak with head coaches Steve Masiello and John Olenowski about the upcoming 2013-14 campaign for their respective programs.
Enjoy food and drinks with fellow Manhattan basketball fans and discuss the teams' prospects and season outlook. The reception includes beer, wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres and is $40 per person. Guest parking will be available in the Draddy parking lot.
The men's basketball team kicks off its season on Friday, November 1 in an exhibition game against Nyack College at 7 p.m. at Draddy Gymnasium. On Saturday, November 9, the Jaspers will travel to La Salle for a 2 p.m. tipoff in their season opener.
The women's basketball squad plays its exhibition game on Saturday, November 2 at 7 p.m. against Saint Mary's of Canada and opens its 2013-14 campaign on the road at Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday, November 10 at 7 p.m.
