Edison, NJ - Manhattan College's Seid Mujanovic was named the MAAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Performer of the Week, the conference announced today. It is the second time this indoor season Mujanovic has won the honor.
Mujanovic, a senior from Travankut, Serbia, grabbed a bronze medal Saturday in the men's weight throw at New Balance Collegiate Invitational, a two-day meet that featured some of the top teams in the country. Mujanovic took third in the weight throw with a personal record and IC4A qualifying distance of 20.63 meters, a mark also moved Mujanovic to sixth place all-time among Jasper weight throwers and placed him among the top eight in the NCAA for the 2010 indoor season.
The MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held on Friday, February 19th at The Armory Track & Field Center in New York City.
