RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College softball team will hold a clinic for girls ages 8-18 at Draddy Gymnasium on Sunday, November 29. There will be two two-hour sessions featuring comprehensive offensive and defensive drills, as well as a one-hour pitching session. Each of the two-hour sessions costs $50, while the pitching session is an additional $25. Teams are welcome to come as a group.
The first two-hour session for girls ages 8-12 will run from 12:30-2:30 p.m., while the session for girls ages 13-18 will be held from 4-6 p.m. Hitters should bring their own bats, helmets and batting gloves. Some of the skills that will be covered include hitting techniques, defensive infield and outfield techniques, throwing techniques and baserunning.
The pitching session runs from 2:30-3:30 p.m., and pitchers are asked to bring their own catchers. This session will be split into two groups: ages 8-12 and ages 13-18.
