Rosalee Mason (London, England) was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending January 12, conference officials, announced this afternoon.
Mason led the Lady Jaspers (6-8, 3-2) to three MAAC victories this week over St. Peter's, Siena and Marist. Mason posted two double-doubles, averaging 14 points 8.6 rebounds over the three games.
On the season, Mason has eight double-doubles in 14 games and is averaging 14.1 ppg and 10.8 rpg. As of January 6, Mason ranked 10th in the NCAA Division I in rebounding with 11.4 rpg.
The Lady Jaspers return to action on Sunday, January 19, when they host Rider at 2:00 PM at Draddy Gym.
