Atai is in her first year as assistant volleyball coach.

Atai arrives in Riverdale after coaching at NYC Juniors Volleyball Club. While there, Atai was responsible for running club-wide tryouts as well as supporting the head coach in varying capacities such as running pre-game warm-ups and reviewing game film.

The former Pace Setter also coached at the Avenues The World School last season. Atai was the assistant coach for the varsity team and the head coach of the junior varsity team. 

A graduate of Pace University, Atai obtained a degree in International Business Management while being a member of the volleyball team in addition to being the president of SAAC, and making the Dean's List. Atai was a member of three NCAA Tournament teams while at Pace.
