Juliana Behrens

Juliana Behrens is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Jaspers.  A 2014 Manhattan graduate, she helped the Jaspers tally 20 wins and qualify for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Tournament in 2013.
 
Behrens transferred to Manhattan after two years at the University of Cincinnati.  In her first season with the Jaspers, she ranked third in the MAAC with a .324 hitting percentage while also notching 178 kills and 50 blocks.  In 2013, Behrens placed second on the squad with 66 blocks.  She also registered 172 kills as a senior.
 
In addition, Behrens received the Comeback Player of the Year Award at the 2014 Block M Banquet after successfully returning from a shoulder injury to play in 28 matches.
 
She received her bachelor's degree in biology in May 2014 and is currently working towards a master's degree in engineering.  Her sister, Marissa, is a freshman middle blocker for the Jaspers.
