Jill May is in her third year as an assistant coach for the Manhattan Women's Lacrosse program.
This past season, she helped mentor All-MAAC Second Team selection Grace Lipponer and MAAC All-Rookie Team honoree Jillian Reiner.
In 2020, the Jaspers went 3-4 with a thrilling overtime win over La Salle, and victories against Detroit and Sacred Heart.
May joined Manhattan after a stint at Notre Dame College, where she served as both Head Coach, and prior to her promotion, two seasons as an assistant coach.
May was responsible for the planning and execution of all practices, organizing community service and recruiting.
In her two years as an assistant coach, she helped the Falcons to a program record for conference wins, and a school record for free position goals in 2018.
On the field, May played at both Ohio State (2014) and LIU Brooklyn (2016-17), and scored 23 goals with 10 assists.
No stranger to the area, May was touted as one of the top-100 high school players in the country by ESPN following her high school career at St. John the Baptist High School on Long Island.
A native of Babylon, NY, May graduated from LIU Brooklyn with a B.A. in Sociology in 2017 and an M.S. in Special Education from Notre Dame College in 2019.
