Oscar Galvis joined the Manhattan men's soccer staff in the beginning of the 2018 season. He primarily works with the goalkeepers in practice.

Since arriving to the United States over 11 years ago, Galvis has trained netminders in numerous programs around the area. Most recently, he has served as the Goalkeeper Director for World Class FC Travel since 2014, and held a position with GB soccer since 2007. Galvis also has experience as a goalkeeper coach at St. Thomas Aquinas, ODP Region 1, Ramapo Valley Soccer Club and was the head coach for the Tornado Soccer Club from 2007-2009.

Galvis has almost 20 years of experience in professional soccer in Colombia on his resume. He was with Deportivo Pasto from 2002-2006, with the last year as a goalkeeper trainer. He was also with the Serie A Alianza Lima and Cortulua Tulua Colombia sides, the Serie B Lanercos Boyaca football club and the America de Cali professional team.

Galvis currently holds a USSF "C" license. He currently resides in Tuxedo, NY.
