Andrew Santos '15

Andrew Santos enters his fifth season as Assistant Coach in 2025 after joining the his alma mater's coaching staff in 2021.

Since his arrival, he has been a key figure in the program’s consistent success, helping guide the Jaspers to the MAAC Playoffs in every season during his tenure. His contributions have been instrumental in the team’s advancement to two MAAC Semifinals and two Quarterfinal appearances.

In his role, Santos is actively involved in all facets of the program, including team training, player development, ID clinics, recruiting, and day-to-day operations. His comprehensive approach and strong leadership have played a vital role in both team performance and individual player growth.

Before coaching, Santos was a standout student-athlete at Manhattan College, competing for the Jaspers from 2011 to 2015. During his collegiate career, he helped lead the team to a MAAC Conference Final in 2011 and a Semi-Final appearance in 2013. In recognition of his impact on and off the field, he was named Team MVP in 2014.

Before returning to his alma mater in a coaching capacity, Santos built a strong foundation in youth development, working within a competitive New Jersey-based soccer academy from 2015 onward. There, he served as both a Head Coach and Director of Operations. Under his guidance, academy teams reached two New Jersey State Cup finals.

He has also played a key role in the development of players who have progressed to MLS NEXT programs, including New York Red Bulls, CSA, PDA, and TSF academies, as well as multiple athletes who have been selected for ODP State and Regional teams.

He brings a blend of collegiate experience, youth development expertise, and a deep understanding of the game—both as a former player and now as a dedicated coach.

Santos graduated from Manhattan in 2015 with a degree in communications and a minor in digital arts media, and currently holds a USSF Coaching 'C' license and is pursuing his 'B' license.
