Kyle Ochwat joins the Manhattan men's lacrosse staff after a four-year playing career with the Jaspers. The long stick defensive midfielder started 29 of the 56 games he appeared in from 2006-10, recording three goals and five assists. One of the school's top defenders, he was a vital member of three MAAC playoff teams and was named to the 2010 MAAC All-Conference Tournament Team.

Serving as the team's second assistant, Ochwat will coach the defensive units as well as aid in recruiting and the implementation of Manhattan lacrosse camps.

One of three siblings affiliated with collegiate lacrosse, Ochwat's brother, Keenan, is a junior defenseman at Ohio State while his sister, Kyra, will play for Quinnipiac University next fall. He currently resides in Farmingdale, N.Y.
