During his stint in the Bronx, Lynch has overseen the emergence of 1,000-point scorer and single-season all-time steals leader in former guard Jaden Winston, who was tabbed to the then-All-MAAC Third Team, the conference’s All-Defensive Team, and eventually named to the All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association’s Honorable Mention listing at the conclusion of the 2025-26 campaign.

The former University at Hartford standout was instrumental in assisting the Jaspers to a 17-win season in 2024-25, and 12 conference victories, highlighted by then-MAAC Rookie of the Year Will Sydnor.

Lynch also oversaw the emergence of Burlington, NJ’s guard Wesley Robinson, who put together 23 appearances, with just one start in 2023-24, to becoming a full-time starter in all 31 games the year later and doubling almost every major categorical number throughout the season. Today, Robinson has taken his talents overseas to play for MBK Banik Handlova in Slovakian Tipos SBL.

In the classroom, Lynch played a marquee role in the Jaspers’ Men’s Basketball program, excelling the way he once did, with Jackson Delaney securing a spot on the NABC Honors Court List, with a dozen Metro Conference All-Academic Team and 26 Metro Conference Academic Honor Roll selections throughout his tenure and counting.

Before his time in Riverdale, Lynch spent the 2022-23 season with the National Champion UConn Huskies Men’s Basketball program as a Graduate Assistant under the tutelage of Head Coach Dan Hurley, where he was heavily involved with on-campus recruiting, academic progress, and video analysis.

Additionally, while in Storrs, Lynch was part of the Huskies’ fifth National Championship team and assisted in the development of some current NBA talent: Donovan Clingan, Hasaan Diarra, Alex Karaban, Adama Sanogo, Andre Jackson, Jr., and Jordan Hawkins.

In 2021-22, Lynch spent one year as the Director of Basketball Operations at his alma mater, the University of Hartford. During his time returning to the Nutmeg State's capitol, Lynch assisted in day-to-day operations, while assisting in the emergence and growth of senior guard Austin Williams, who was named to the America East All-Championship Team, after winning the conference tournament and advancing to the 2021 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis just one week later.

In the professional ranks of basketball, Lynch played professionally for the Bahia Basket Club in Argentina, where he saw action in 25 games and helped his squad to a dozen victories.

Lynch played college basketball under his current boss, John Gallagher, at the University of Hartford for four seasons, from 2015-19. The guard graduated as the only Hawk in program history to record at least 1,000 career points, 350 assists, and 150 steals, while finishing his storied career seventh in program history in scoring with 1,412 total points.

He also posted 374 total assists and 176 career steals, which were both good for second place in the record book. Additionally, Lynch was third in free-throw percentage with a whopping 82.3 clip from the line, third in three-point field goal percentage with a 38.3 clip, and sixth in three-point field goals converted with 186.

As a senior, Lynch became the first America East All-Conference First Team selection representing the Hawks program since 2014. 

Part of his career accolades included an America East All-Conference Third Team selection as a junior, where he posted the sixth most assists in a single season with 126 overall, while leading the team in minutes per contest, averaging 36.1 on the floor.

Putting student first before athlete was noticed around the America East, with Lynch excelling in the classroom with a nod on the Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Academic Honor Roll twice.

Throughout his time donning the Red and Black, Lynch put together 73 career double-digit scoring games, A baker’s dozen plus one 20-point game, two double-digit rebound games, along with 21 contests with at least five or more assists.

Growing up, Lynch played one year of postgrad at St. Andrew’s in Providence, RI, where he was eventually named Second Team All-New England in Class AA, while being ranked the second-best prospect in the Ocean State. He helped his team to an 18-12 record on the season.

Back in his home state of New Jersey, Lynch played for Nick Mariniello and Hudson Catholic, where he started one season, averaged 11.8 points, 2.8 steals, and 4.5 assists per game, while helping the squad to a 24-4 record and its third straight Hudson County Championship.
