Anthony Doran returns for his third season on staff at Manhattan in 2023-24 and first under first-year head coach John Gallagher. 

In 2022-23, Doran primarily worked with the Manhattan forwards and helped Josh Roberts earn MAAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors. In addition, he served as the compliance and academic liaison for the program. Doran also assisted with all recruiting efforts for the Jaspers during his time in Riverdale.

Doran has coached at the community college level at Brevard Community College (Now Eastern Florida State College), the high school level at Hudson Catholic Regional, Our Savior Luthern, and at the AAU level with the New Jersey Playaz Basketball Club, New York Lighting. 

The Bronx native was also involved with the operation of the ABCD Camp. 

Doran graduated from St. John's in 2001 with a B.A. Sports Management/Management and again in 2005 with a M.D. Educational Administration & Supervision.
